We all know that when there's moisture on the windows of your vehicle, or ice, or whatever type of buildup, using the defroster is able to get rid of it and clear it off for you. But what exactly is the process? Let us explain.
The defroster is pumping in dry air. It can be either warm or cold air, as one might work better depending on the season. It runs through the air conditioning system, and when you turn it on, it will send dry air toward the windows to clear them off so it is safe to drive. To make sure your defrosters work, be sure to have your air conditioning system checked next time you're in for service at our dealership.
