Honda creates more than just automobiles for us to drive. Among its many projects is the Honda AWV (Autonomous Work Vehicle). It was developed to assist all types of work-related jobs, and right now it is being used in New Mexico for a solar panel construction site.

With over 100 acres dedicated to solar panels, the Honda AWV, which is able to electrically go nearly 28 miles is helping distribute supplies and building materials, as well as water and hydration. These can be controlled via remote and have lots of sensors and find their way around the site. It's just under 10 feet long and five feet wide, with a bed that can haul 880 pounds in it, and tow up to 1,653 pounds. It's very cool to see how this vehicle, which looks like a little robot, is able to help in a big way and possibly shape the future of the job site thanks to Honda.
