The 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid and the 2017 Honda CR-V were recently honored by the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE), with both vehicles earning praise for how they affect our environment.
The 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid received its place on the "Greenest Vehicles of 2017" list by virtue of it being one of the most environmentally-responsible vehicles available for the 2017 model year, as well as for ranking among the top 1.3 percent of all vehicles.
The 2017 Honda CR-V (1.5-liter FWD) placed on the "Greener Choices 2017" list thanks to placing among the top 11 percent of all vehicles assessed.
Vehicles that make the "Greener Choices 2017" list are limited to only widely available gas-powered cars and light trucks that have automatic transmissions, which highlights the vast availability of environmentally-responsible vehicles in many segments of the market. Vehicles are graded based on an analysis of the entire life-cycle, from the vehcicle's driving environmental impact to its manufacturing process and end-of-life recycling.
